American capitalism gone with a whimper 27.04.2009 Source: Pravda.Ru URL: http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/columnists/107459-american_capitalism-0It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people. True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists. Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters. First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish. Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America. The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe. These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them? These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters. Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions. So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride. Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper. So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, butIt runs out of space here and cuts it off but there is more if you have an interest in reading it.
China tries Capitalism and has great success. Obama wants Socialism and is failing miserably along with the rest of America which he is bringing down to His level of utter nonsense. How long will it be before Americans admit Obama is destroying us.
Obama is trying to put a stake through it's heart, but in the long run he'll fail. Our traditions are long-standing and will not die at BO's hands. In spite of how he views himself, he is naive and weak. In fact, he is failing already. Will we suffer in the short-run? Unfortunately yes. BO is the most negative influence this country's seen in a long time (maybe ever), and it will take awhile for the majority to see this. Remember, we get the government we deserve. But the country, and capitalism, will survive.
So it’s not like I am overflowing with education but I do know, even with the blurred lines of political hype, the difference between right and wrong and common sense. Common sense tells me that no one will ever understand the political ramifications of who does what, and how we get them out or get them elected, if we don’t understand how they get there, this would include Mat Rodina. It's true that the United States has taken a beating, and to most voters, it's only been the last few years, but in my book it's been the last forty, and continues. What Mat fails to understand is the Oval office is not a free ticket to do what the occupant wants. In fact the occupant is severely restricted by the house and senate, while always maintaining a watchful eye on public opinion. Capitalism has never been a way of life, rather it's been an experiment that probably won't end anytime soon. The fact that our President has taken the initiative to clean house does look like the beginning of socialism but the facts are, we have always been a socialist leaning society. If you dig deep enough the word itself cannot be defined exactly as it applies to a social standard....That's because there is no "social standard"! So socialism cannot be defined (that would be the same for Marxism, except there are some obvious truths) The interpretation of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States will always be the guiding light for our society with changes only coming from our legal branch. This branch (which again I don't think Mat completely understands) is staffed with individuals that only approve or disapprove law based on the Constitution. Because they are appointed gives no incentive to bend the rules of society outside the bounds of the document, they are only beholding to the appoint-er because they have a similar wedge issue belief (pro-life, pro-choice, pro-gun, pro-whatever). However, at the end of the day, any changes or determination comes from those we elect to be the standard bearer, they are the ones that approve or disapprove the Administrations every move. So Mr. Obama does not make change with out approval of those we elect to oversee and determine what should be questioned and therein lays Mr. Rodina's confusion. We elected those that allow the oval office to make socialistic moves, and unlike Putin, who has his subliminal KGB forces working to insure domestic tranquility, who it appears, allowed Mr. Medvedev to run and be elected. If President Obamas plan(s) do not work he will not be reelected, the only time I've witnessed this process not work was with President Nixon (war time presidents seem to get a break for reasons unknown). It appears Mat Rodina wishes we would fail to a dictatorial type of scenario but it's virtually impossible with the Constitution. I am confident we will continue to preserve our way of life. The governments recent major holdings in GM has given rise to speculation, but those who would accuse the United State of a social shift fail to recognize, that if the shift is too severe it will only last for four years. Another huge issue he fails to see is the American voters power to make change (the electoral college not with standing), should we become anxious over political manipulating we can make change almost instantly, our congressional leaders work on a two year term and can be changed in a blink of an eye. So all in all we have the control in the long run, not the President. These are difficult times and call for unusual fixes, the Presidents fix may work if we bother to follow the entire text of his proposals (for example; the ownership of GM by the federal government will be sold when GM is on its feet), if we automatically determine everything the government is doing is wrong and leading to a significant shift and fail to keep our eyes open we deserve what we get and are really no different than Mat. People seem to get a kick out of kicking the U.S. when it's down , somewhere along the line it gave rise to looking like you must know a lot if you get down on the United States, however in our history that's all been tried and it's almost always failed....Let Rodina get his kudos from the Russian political establishment, I'm comfortable with my life and will always vote for term limits and against the two party system that restricts others from participating, even though I don't get paid to think this way and I won't go to Siberia for having an opinion:
